I would like to take this time to congratulate everyone who helped make this year's season a success. It showed that not just one or two (or even three) people are responsible for making this league flourish. All committee members, team leaders, coaches and "especially" each player stepped up this year with their support and dedication.
It is true that we lost some very good veteran players but it is also true that we have added many new players that are not only great athletes but also great additions to each team and the league overall...it is fun to see the competitiveness, parity and heart of every team while maintaining overall "sportsmanship".
Also, thank you all for your turnout to the year end banquet, I hope that you enjoyed it (special thanks to Doug for organizing it).
I hope that you all enjoy the winter months and return in 2011 with the same enthusiasm and spirit.

Congratulations to The Reds for an excellent championship. Well played and well deserved guys. That ankle is going to hurt like hell tomorrow Alain, but I know that the "Joy of Victory" with heal it soon.
Couple of notes:
1. Derek - thanks for playing for both the Hooters & the Sox this morning (nice win Sox).
2. Hang on to your Drill Doug.
3. Dan P. - Its a team game, but you played the best defensive game I've ever participated in - Period.
4. Special thanks to my team mates who are the best bunch of guys I could hope to be associated with.
5. X-tra special thanks to Dave Page who made it all possible for the Hooters this year.

It's been a very good season guys. Congratulations to the Hooters for their championship. It's been a close race between the Brewzers and the Hooters, and what a setup for the last meeting between you two. Remember that there is a little bit of Honda in this Hooters championship. After 19 staight losses to the Brewzers, we've been able to come from behind, and beat them in the 8th inning to force that matchup for the title. Should be very interesting playoffs coming up. Hi guys, what a game on Saturday morning. We've been able to score 4 in the top of the 7th to tie the Brewzers at 10 but then, in the bottom of the 7th, in 2 cracks of the bat, they scored one to win 11-10. We stranded too many men on bases and they cashed in on every freaking defensive mistakes we made in that game (too many) to steal the game. They didn't beat us with the long ball yesterday. They played a great game defensively. Even with a depleated team, they showed us yesterday that they are for real again this year. They are not 4-0 by fluke. They're a great team. Let's see next time... Good luck Hooters on your upcoming match up against them next weekend, it should be a dandy!. Have a great week you all.

Thanks to the guys from the Black Sox (+Marcel from Honda) for joining us at Cunningham’s after the game last night. Pretty sure that that’s what James was alluding to at the pre-season meeting; Friendly competition on the field and good camaraderie afterwards.

What a crazy game to start the season Dave. Bottom of the seventh, leading 17-7, we just could not stop you from hitting the freaking ball... Fortunately, we've found a way to stop the bleeding and ended up winning 17-15. Way to start Honda!.

Great video Dave! Appreciate the effort and will tell the guys to check it out. That camera added 10 lbs though? What's up with that? Looking forward to the sequel - the banquet video.
